Day 1

Ha Noi - Bai Tu Long Bay - Quan Lan Island (L, D)

Located next to Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long is far less frequently visited than its more famous brother, but lacks none of the gorgeous natural beauty the former is famous for.
We will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi early in the morning for your drive to Cam Pha Town. Here we embark on a boat ride through the stunning islets of Bai Tu Long before switching to kayaks for some more free exploration of the area. Once you’re done kayaking, we’ll take you to Van Don Island, famous for its white sandy beaches, tiny villages and verdant hills. Here you’ll settle in at the homestay and have the opportunity to attend a cooking class teaching you how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. You will then dinner and overnight with your host family at the homestay.

Day 2

Quan Lan Island - Bai Tu Long Bay - Hanoi (B, L)

After breakfast you’ll get to go on a bicycle ride across the island and explore its northernmost reaches. This allows you to stay close to the fertile land and friendly inhabitants as you travel past the breath-taking views of the sea and lush vegetation, making it the best way to see the island.
After your bike ride you will embark on the boat again, following a different route for your return journey through Bai Tu Long Bay. Our driver will be waiting in Cai Rong to drive you back to Hanoi, arriving in the capital at around 6pm.
